Rand Show has partnered with Fourways Mall to host their spring edition at a more central location for northern Johannesburg and Pretoria. MasterDrive will have a presence at the spring edition where visitors can be part of the launch of the TrackMaster programme, enjoy MasterDrive’s Auto-Gymkhana and participate in other activities.
The CEO of MasterDrive, Eugene says the team is excited to be part of one of the first events following the halt of activities following the start of COVID-19. The show will take place from 22 to 27 September 2021. “We are looking forward to launching our latest, exhilarating programme that will give drivers the opportunity to experience the full power and excitement of being behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang.
“Drivers can also look forward to the Auto-Gymkhana where they compete on a specific course to win the fastest lap of the day. Any show-goer can join MasterDrive for this event that ignites the competitive spirit of all drivers. Entries into the Auto-Gymkhana can also be won throughout the show. Winners may even qualify to compete in the final MasterDrive Auto-Gymkhana of the year and stand a chance to scoop the title of Auto-Gymkhana driver of the event.”
In addition to the driving activities that will happen on the rooftop, attendees can visit the MasterDrive stand on the third floor to get a more comprehensive understanding of the training programmes on offer. The motorcycle used in the unique MasterBiker training will also be on display.
The Rand Show Spring Edition is another move toward resuming live motoring events. “Strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place from both show organisers and MasterDrive itself. This will ensure that we can start to cautiously resume some of the entertainment and social interactions that drivers enjoyed previously.
“We encourage everyone to follow the protocols in place to ensure that no unnecessary risks are taken. The possibility of safely resuming events, and consequently motoring events like these, is one that many people look forward with anticipation after a long period where such events seemed like a far-off possibility.”
