Perseverance and hard work by Kei Bridge police led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man at Manqulo Village, yesterday.
Police received information on a burglary residential that happened on Saturday night, 16 October 2021. They followed up on that information which led them to the suspect’s house. On arrival, they asked permission to search. On their search, they found a bag and a cellphone which were reported to be stolen. On further investigation, the suspect led the police to a nearby forest where a TV flat screen and a hunting Rifle were recovered.
He was arrested and will appear in the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 21 October 2021.
