On Sunday, 10 October 2021 at about 19:26, Bishop Lavis police were called to an accident scene in Robert Sibukwe Drive Bishop Lavis where a 35-year-old female was hit by a vehicle that failed to stop at the scene of the accident to ascertain the injuries of the pedestrian. The victim died on her way to the hospital.
