Minister of Police, General BH Cele, accompanied by Deputy National Commissioner for Policing and Operations, Lt General Masemola and Western Cape Provincial Commissioner, joined forces on the ground on Friday evening, 22 October 2021, executing evening operations in some identified Cape Town hotspots.
The operations took Minister Cele and entourage to notorious crime hotspots in Delft, later in the evening to Green Point and Long Street night clubs where they checked the compliance of the establishments with DMA regulations and liquor license specifications.
