A man and woman were killed, and another woman was left critically injured last night when their vehicle rolled off the N12 in Daveyton.
ER24 arrived at 20h20 to find a light motor vehicle on the side of the road. A man was found trapped inside the car, while two women were lying a few meters away from the car.
Medics assessed the patients and found that the man had already succumbed to his numerous injuries while the two women were in a critical condition.
Medics immediately began to treat the patients in an effort to stabilise their vital signs. Unfortunately, after some time, one of the critically injured women succumbed to her injuries. The second woman was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
