A 74-year-old man was seriously injured after he fell over a wall and landed in his neighbour’s property on Sastri Circle in Belvedere, Tongaat a short while ago (Saturday).
The RUSA Tongaat Operations Center received a call for assistance at approximately 11:23. Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics were dispatched to the scene and on arrival located the male lying on the ground.
According to neighbours, the man lived on a neighbouring property. They heard a loud thud and upon investigation found him lying in their yard. He was seriously injured in the fall which was in excess of 2 meters.
The injured male was stabilized on the scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
