House caught alight due to an electrical fault in Ottawa

A house situated on Munn road in Ottawa, KZN caught alight due to an electrical fault.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene and found the Ethekwini Fire Department and the Metro Police in attendance. The fire had already been extinguished prior to the arrival of RUSA Members. Two females aged 35 and 55 years old were treated on scene for smoke inhalation by Medics. They did not require further medical attention.

The cause of the fire was believed to be an electrical fault.
