The decomposing body of an unidentified man has been discovered in a river at the dead-end of Wick Street in the Verulam CBD, KZN this morning (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 05:02, after a group of individuals attempting to cross the river made the discovery. On arrival, Reaction Officers found the body in a prone position stuck in debris.
Circumstances leading up to the man’s death are uncertain at this point.
