Beggar run over in Ottawa

A 47-year-old woman suffered traumatic injuries after she was run over on the R102 at the Ottawa intersection, KZN.

Passing motorists contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance for the seriously injured female. On arrival, it was established that the woman was begging at the intersection when she was struck by a silver VW Polo. She fell to the ground when a MAN truck ran over her.

The woman was stabilized on scene by Medics before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
