A female was hijacked in Waterloo

A female was hijacked for her white Ford Figo while traveling on Isibani Sesizwe Road in Phase 3, Waterloo – KZN.

The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Verulam Operations Center received a call for assistance. RUSA members were immediately dispatched and on arrival met with the victim. She explained that she was traveling on Isibani Sesizwe Road when a gold Toyota Corolla suddenly stopped in front of her.

Two suspects armed with handguns exited their vehicle and forced her out of her car before they sped off. She was assisted by a taxi driver who drove her to her residence. The hijacked vehicle was later recovered abandoned Umthavuma Way in Waterloo by her tracking company.

The female was not injured.
