Integrated operation led to arrest of six suspects in Macassar

Integrated operations between Macassar police, Metro Police, Law Enforcement, and Traffic Services yesterday yielded positive results when they executed search warrants in the Macassar policing precinct.

They arrested a total of six suspects which includes a female between the ages of 29 and 63 on charges of possession of drugs, possession of imitation firearms, possession of crayfish, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

During the execution of the search warrants, the community became riotous and threw the law enforcement agencies with stones which resulted in the members being injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Once charged the suspects will appear in the Somerset West Magistrate’s Court to face the charges against them.
