A cow was killed after it was run over by a minibus taxi on Oakford Road in Osindisweni, KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and located a large crowd gathered around the deceased cow. The driver of the Toyota Hiace taxi explained that he was traveling on Oakford Road heading towards Verulam when he noticed a herd of cows crossing the road. The vehicle ran over one of the cows before it left the road and came to a stop approximately 50 metes into a sugar cane plantation.
The vehicle was extensively damaged in the collision.
