SADAG’s #FacebookFriday 1 April, 1pm – 1:30pm
The 30th of March marks World Bipolar Day and this year’s theme is #BipolarTogether. Whether you’re living with Bipolar Disorder, supporting a loved one with Bipolar Disorder or treating someone who has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, it is important to know the symptoms, triggers, support that is available and how it can impact a person’s life.
In support of this day, SADAG is hosting a #FacebookFriday Live Video Q&A on Bipolar Disorder this Friday, 1 April from 1 pm – 1:30 pm. Expert guest Psychiatrist, Dr Leverne Mountany, will be unpacking Bipolar disorder and discussing tips on living with Bipolar, treatment challenges, and the myths and facts around Bipolar Disorder. We will also chat about the stigma and discrimination that still exists around Bipolar Disorder.
Join this week’s #FacebookFriday with Dr Leverne Mountany to discuss Bipolar Disorder, medication, treatment options and how to help and support a loved living with Bipolar. She will shed light on the risks that may occur if Bipolar is not treated or left untreated or undiagnosed. Learn more about how to cope with Bipolar Disorder on a daily basis in relation to work, school and family life.
Join the LIVE Facebook chat, this Friday, the 1st of April from 1pm-1:30pm
