Bridge severely damaged and remains closed on the N2 North Umhali

Photos received from one of our IPSS Rescue members. The bridge has been severely damaged and remains closed.

RTI is awaiting SANRAL to send structural engineers to access the damage.

N2 South is open to contra flow traffic so people are able to travel north.

However, the roads remain filled with debris so do travel with caution.
