Foreign nationals arrested for contravening Medicine and Realated Substance Act

One Zimbabwean and one Mozambican male suspects were selling Benlyn cough syrup, Bronclear and Painagon syrup to community members of Olievenhoubosh.

The two suspects were operating from their spaza shop in Olievenhoubosh.

The TMPD K9 and Tactical unit members searched the suspects and the premises. They found 17 bottles of Benlyn syrup, 20 bottles of Bronclear syrup and 47 bottles of Painagon syrup.

The pair was also found in possession of ammunition. They were both arrested for contravening the Medicine and Realated Substance act 101 of 1965 and possession of ammunition.
