Congolese Businessman Robbed: Trenance Park – KZN

A Congolese national was robbed at his business premises on Marula Circle in Trenance Park – KZN this afternoon (Thursday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at 17:14 and met with the owner of a furniture manufacturing business. He explained that three suspects climbed over the rear boundary wall before they accosted his employee in the yard. Two of the suspects were armed with firearms. The robbers then confronted the businessman. Both victims were forced into a room while the suspects loaded a desktop computer into a suitcase and ransacked the premises including the fridge for other valuables. They fled back over the rear wall with the suitcase, a Huawei cellphone, cash and a hi-fi.

The victims were not injured.
