The police in Villiers are requesting assistance from the Community in finding Simon Fana Mthembu (25) who was reportedly kidnapped from his home in Qalabotjha.
It is alleged by Nthabiseng Fana’s girlfriend, that on Saturday, 26 February 2022, at about 22:30, she was sleeping with Fana and their baby, when three unknown men kicked open the bedroom door and one of them was holding a firearm.
They informed her that they are taking Fana to the police station regarding a fight that took place on Friday, 25 February 2022 and the family can come to see him at Villiers Police Station in the morning.
The three suspects left with Fana in a red polo TSI with GP registration.
A short while after they left, Nthabiseng contacted the police and they tried tracing the suspects but could not find them and informed her that Fana was never at the police station.
Fana is dark in complexion, about 1.6 in height, slender, has a scar on the left chick next to his nose, and has a flag tattoo on his left arm.
Fana was last seen wearing blue denim, a red soccer jersey, and blue Adidas flip-flops.
