One dead, one seriously injured in a collision on the R702 Dewetsdorp

VRMED, Netcare911, and LifeEMS responded to a collision on the R702 Dewetsdorp road close to Dinaweng Saturday morning.

On arrival, crews found a badly damaged vehicle next to the road after colliding with a tree.

Both the occupants were found lying outside the vehicle after being ejected from the vehicle.

Sadly the male occupant sustained fatal injuries and the female occupant sustained critical injuries.

VRMED and Netcare911 advanced care paramedic stabilized the patient on scene before transporting the patient to Pelonomi Trauma unit for further specialized care.

The scene was handed over to Bloemspruit SAPS for further investigation.
