An informal home was completely destroyed after it caught alight in Canelands -KZN on Friday night.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to Station Road at approximately 21:09 after residents from the informal settlement reported the fire. Upon arrival, Reaction
Officers found a single wood & iron home engulfed in flames. The blaze was extinguished by firefighters from the Ethekwini Fire Department who arrived shortly thereafter.
The cause of the fire was not immediately established.
