An ex-Metro Policeman was disarmed during a dispute with his girlfriend’s husband at their rented property in Verulam – KZN this afternoon (Monday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from the landlord at 17:16 requesting assistance after two men who entered her property and began assaulting her tenant. The caller went on to explain that shots were fired during the altercation.
Reaction Officers were dispatched and on arrival interviewed a man who stated that he and his wife were separated. They were in the process of moving out of the property with the intention of parting ways when his wife’s boyfriend arrived with a second male and began assaulting him.
