Elderly couple robbed in Parkgate

A couple aged 65 & 69 and their domestic employee were held up by six armed suspects at their home on Greenwood Close in Parkgate – KZN.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the residence and on arrival met with the victims.

It was established that six suspects held up the domestic employee while she was conducting chores in the yard. They questioned her with regards to how many people were in the house and what security measures were in place before they forced the rear door open.

The gunmen ransacked the home in search of valuables. They fled with jewelry and a TV which was loaded into a green vehicle (make & model unknown) with an ND registration that was parked in a reverse position on the driveway.
No injuries were reported.
