One of three suspects arrested in an early morning operation yesterday (Thursday, 30/06/2022) has been identified as a suspect sought for murder.
The man who is in custody at Verulam SAPS has been identified by Police Detectives as a sought-after suspect in a murder case that occurred on the night of May 16, 2022, where one person was killed during an altercation. Police are seeking a seven (7) day remand at the Verulam Magistrates Court for further investigation.
Reaction Officers arrested the man at 10:47 yesterday during a planned operation. The man was considered extremely dangerous after he and his gang stabbed multiple people in the Verulam CBD in January 2022.
Investigations are ongoing.
