On 19 August 2022, a female student was approached by two African men who pretended to seek direction. It alleged that the suspects pose as prophets and she was robbed of six cell phones. The victim was lured into bringing her cell phone and those of her friends.
Residents are sternly warned to be aware of these criminals posing as prophets.
A case of Robbery with a firearm was registered. An Identikit was compiled. The first suspect is dark in complexion, overweight could be 1,7 meters in height. He was wearing a black shirt, dark blue denim, and grey sneakers and could be 50 to 55 years old.
The second suspect was light in complexion, 1,7 meters in height, and slender, he was wearing a white cap, red jacket, and black tracksuit pants and could be between 30 to 35 years old. Both speak the Sepedi language.
