Midlands EMS Howick crews responded to a head-on collision along the R103 in Lions River.
Upon arrival, it was found that 1 patient had sustained critical injuries and required advanced life support treatment while another person sustained moderate injuries.
Both patients were treated on scene before being transported to a nearby private hospital for further care.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities.
