Just after 01h00 on Sunday morning Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision involving two light motor vehicles on the N3 near London Road.
Reports from the scene are that two luxury sedans collided at high speed and high impact.
Three men were left injured, two of them critically.
Emergency Care Practitioners worked fervently to stabilize the two men using several advanced life support interventions, before they were placed onto mechanical ventilators and transported rapidly by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
