A Provinical ambulance overturned following a collision with a light motor vehicle on the R102 in the vicinity of Tongaat – KZN this morning (Saturday).
A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 00:34 requesting assistance at the scene. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered an Iveco ambulance lying on its side.
It was confirmed that two Paramedics were transported to hospital prior to the arrival of First Responders. The occupants of a white Toyota Starlet were being treated for their injuries by Medics from a private ambulance service.
Circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
