Various services responded to reports of a structural fire in the Bloemfontein CBD yesterday evening.
On arrival, it wat found that various shops were well alighted.
Firefighting operations continued for several hours and damage amounting to millions was caused by the blaze.
The cause of the fire will be investigated by relevant authorities.
