A 4-year-old boy who was located wandering aimlessly in Riet River – KZN has been re-united with his family.
A member of the public contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 14:42 (Friday) requesting assistance shortly after two vehicles narrowly missed running him over. RUSA was contacted by a female who identified herself as his grandmother after a report on the boy was circulated on this social media platform.
According to the caller, the child was left in the care of a neighbour while his grandmother was at work. He was playing in the area with a teenager when he wandered off. The neighbours allegedly conducted an extensive search after hearing of his disappearance.
