Nhlebele arrived at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Tongaat Operations Centre during the early parts of this morning (Saturday). The boy informed the controller on duty that he resides in Umlazi – KZN with an aunt.
Approximately 2 weeks ago, he travelled to Emona – KZN to visit his mother for the holidays. He woke up one morning and could not locate her. He later learnt that she fled with money collected for Stokvel. He lived alone for five days until his mother’s landlord realised that he was abandoned. The minor is unable to provide RUSA Members with details for alternate family members.
