Fidelity Services Group rescued a hijacking victim in Durban

Fidelity Services Group to the rescue of a hijacking victim in Durban. One of our members noticed a Hyundai that was passing at a very high speed. He also spotted that there were three occupants in the vehicle and that the passenger at the back appeared to look very uncomfortable.

The driver of the vehicle became suspicious of our team and a high-speed chase occurred. The suspect driving the vehicle then lost control of the car and rammed into a pole in Newlands. Our team managed to apprehend one of the suspects but unfortunately, the other suspect got away.

A 9mm pistol which was in the vehicle was also recovered. We commend our SIU team for its vigilance in spotting this and ultimately keeping the victim safe and protected from further harm.
