Several multimillion-rand developments aimed at boosting the informal economy are underway in the City.
Most of the developments are nearing completion and will be opened soon. The projects will provide safe and clean trading spaces for informal traders.
This will in turn promote job creation in the City. These developments include the KwaMashu A Hostel Trader’s Facility, the Folweni Business Hive, Cornubia Retail Facility, and the Blue Lagoon Trader’s Facility to name a few.
