Public assistance is required to locate 17 year old Asanda Ngwane (pictured).
Ngwane is a resident of Mhlasini – KZN. On Wednesday (05/04/2023), the teenager left her residence to attend extra classes at Glenhaven School in Brindhaven – KZN. She was dressed in her school uniform.
The Grade 12 pupil’s family have confirmed that she did not attend school on the day. They have received information that on the day of her disappearance, Ngwane stopped at a friend’s house and changed her clothes. She informed her friend that she was leaving to Inanda – KZN to attend a house party.
She chatted with her friend on Facebook Messenger a day after she left. She stated that she smoked Marijuana and fell asleep. She further stated that she was afraid to return as her parents would most likely reprimand her for her actions. During her conversation, she informed her friend that she intending on committing suicide. Attempts to contact her thereafter have been unsuccessful.
