A safe containing a firearm and cash was stolen during a home invasion on Raj Drive in Sandfields – KZN today (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 11:33 and discovered the Tongaat SAPS in attendance. It was established that three suspects gained entry into the residence and held up a female. They searched the home and wrenched a safe that was mounted on a wall inside a cupboard in one of the bedrooms. The safe contained a firearm & cash. The robbers thereafter fled in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
