Late Saturday night Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a collision on the R21 in the vicinity of the Irene Village Mall.
Reports from the scene are that a a motorist had stopped to change a flat tyre when he was struck by another vehicle and killed.
He was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
