Vigilance leads to arrest in Gqeberha! Shortly after 9 pm on Sunday evening, our response officer reported that while he was patrolling in Caledonian Street, Uitenhage, he noticed a suspicious male walking with a trolley transporting a ladder inside.
The officer immediately investigated and questioned the male as to where he got the ladder from. The officer then saw a SAPS vehicle and flagged him down. The male then admitted to stealing the ladder and led the response officer and SAPS to the premises that he stole it from. He was arrested and taken to the Uitenhage police station. Well done officer on a job well done!
