Police are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a #missing man named Khatliso Edwin Makhetha who was reportedly last seen at his place of residence in Calabria in Meloding on Friday, 05 May 2023.
According to his brother, Khatliso was visiting a friend to watch soccer however, he never returned home. On Sunday, 07 May 2023, the brother tried to reach Khatliso on his cellphone, but all in vain. The family also reached out to his friends and other relatives with no success. They also enquired at his workplace, as he is a lecturer at a university in Welkom however, it was established he never arrived at his workplace since his disappearance.
His wife, who is residing in Johannesburg, was also contacted and related that she last spoke with her husband on Sunday. The room where he resides was searched, and his cellphone and wallet were not found. Khatliso left his vehicle, a black Ford Fiesta at home.
It is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. He is short in height, light in complexion, and has a short hairstyle.
