Two robbery suspects arrested by Fidelity Services Group in Fairview

During the mid-morning hours on Monday,Fidelity Services Group response officer received a call from a resident in a complex in Fairview.

The customer confirmed that there was a suspect in their yard. The officer arrived on site and immediately began searching the complex. The Community Operations Manager for the West and another security company also joined the search, and it was not long before the suspect was found hiding in another yard within the complex.

SAPS was notified, and the suspect was taken to the Walmer police station for further investigation. In a separate incident, another suspect was arrested by our response officer during the early hours of the morning. While patrolling the area, the officer noticed a suspicious male. After questioning the male, it came to light that he had stolen copper pipes which he then admitted to stealing from premises in Cotswold.

SAPS was called and took the suspect into custody.
