Head of the Department of Transport and Community, Mr. Steve Matjena addressed stakeholders for transport planning on a review of the Provincial Land Transport Framework (PLTF) at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane today, 29 May 2023.
The purpose of the engagement was to get input from stakeholders before the completion of the review. This is done to ensure alignment of the PLTF with other planning initiatives and guide Municipal Integrated Transport Planning (ITP).
Stakeholders in attendance included bus companies, the provincial taxi council, the National Department of Transport, PRASA, Municipalities, SALGA, Provincial Departments, etc.
