Tshwane Metro Police Department Tactical Unit Members arrest two drug dealers

Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Tactical Unit members arrested two suspects in Hammanskraal on Tuesday, 30 May 2023. One suspect was found dealing in a drug known as nyaope. He was in possession of nyaope with an estimated street value of R28 000.

The second suspect was dealing in dagga and was also found in possession of suspected stolen property, which included flat screen televisions. Both suspects were arrested and will appear in court soon

Basil Nkhwashu, acting Chief of Police, has expressed his gratitude to the Tactical Unit members who continue to work hard to fight crime in Tshwane, following the major arrest of a notorious criminal in the past week.

The suspect was wanted for crimes such as murder, ATM bombings, house robberies and assault.

The suspect was also seen in a video strangling a child to death during a house robbery.
