Abarth joins Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One at the Rome Premiere of the next installment in the successful franchise

  • The Abarth universe and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One came together for the long-awaited premiere of the next installment of the film saga, which was held in the picturesque setting of Rome on June 19th.
  • As narrated in the exciting commercial, Abarth has managed to make the impossible possible: it has succeeded in creating an electric Abarth that maintains the brand’s typical performance and driving pleasure.

Abarth appeared alongside Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One during the much-anticipated premiere of the next installment of the franchise, written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The event took place on June 19th in the evocative setting of Rome, with other locations in which the film was shot, such as London, Abu Dhabi, and others, to follow. The film, from Paramount Pictures and Skydance, opens in cinemas worldwide on July 12th.

Two main characters shared the spotlight during the premiere: the legendary 1960s Fiat 500 Abarth starred in the romantic Piazza di Spagna, which enthusiasts immediately recognized from one of the movie’s climax scenes; and the New Abarth 500e, an irreverent and completely electric model featuring an appealing sharp design, which was located in front of the red carpet leading to the auditorium.

Such a merger is no coincidence: Abarth has always been synonymous with thrilling driving experiences like the ones moviegoers will enjoy this summer in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, only in cinemas. The collaboration came out of a desire to emphasize the common feelings that both brands have always shared and expressed: exciting driving, adrenaline, power, and extraordinary performance.

These common values will be narrated in detail in ‘Mission Possible, an exciting new TV spot created in partnership with this installment of Mission: Impossible, with whom Abarth shares its fundamental tenets. The launch of the New Abarth 500e is a demonstration, after all, that an exciting, emotional, and fun to drive electric Abarth is indeed a Mission Possible. Because Abarth makes the impossible possible. Darting through the mazy streets of Rome, the original 1960s model turns into the new electric model, expressing, in pure “Mission: Impossible Style”, the brand’s attitude to get “extra performance” out of normal cars, and showing just how exciting and powerful the electric Abarth is.
