Thanks to the vigilance of our team, a suspect was arrested in possession of fake money in Rustenburg. Our officer was dispatched to KFC in Rustenburg CBD on Sunday evening as they required assistance.
On arrival, the store Manager informed him that one of the customers who was currently in the shop bought food twice using fake R200 notes. Our officer immediately reported this and called for backup.
Together with our other officers, they approached the suspect and managed to apprehend him. Both officers searched the suspect, finding counterfeit money, a knife, and Mercedes Benz keys. He was handed over to Rustenburg SAPS.
