Multiple arrested for possession and selling of drugs in Pietermaritzburg

We commend the Fidelity Services Group team and all other role players for recently assisting SAPS with visibility and drug bust operations in Pietermaritzburg.

Phase 1 included vehicle checkpoints on New England Road and Oribi Road.

Phase 2 involved a stop and search in Scottsville, where arrests were made for the possession and selling of crack cocaine and dangerous weapons.

Twenty pieces of crack cocaine, two knives, and R800 cash were recovered.
