SAPS Despatch detectives are seeking the next of kin or anyone who can identify the body of a man who died in an accident on Monday, 03 July 2023, in Perseverance.
It is alleged that at approximately 19:02 on the abovementioned date, SAPS Despatch responded to a complaint, on the M19, Perseverance, Despatch, opposite the Bayland informal settlement. On arrival they found the body of an unknown man, with head injuries. It is alleged that the deceased was a pedestrian and was hit by a vehicle/truck. The deceased was dressed in a purple jacket, brown jersey, blue trousers and black tekkies and he is aged between 40 and 45 years of age.
