Trapped dog freed in Parkgate

A 4 month old German Shepherd who forced his head through a piece of burglar bar was freed by Reaction Officers.

A resident of Chancery Lane in Parkgate – KZN contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance to free his canine.

Reaction Officers were dispatched to the property and discovered the dog’s head stuck in a burglar bar. According to his owner, the burglar bar was used as a barrier between his property and his neighbours.

His dog was attempting to force his way into the neighbour’s yard when his head got trapped. He attempted to bend the steel in an attempt to free his pet, without success.

RUSA Members manoeuvred the canine’s head and freed him without injury.
