Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) Officers, arrested a 38-year-old male suspect, for possession and possible dealing in the dagga, in the Rabie Ridge area.
As Officers were patrolling the Rabie Ridge area, they received information from a reliable source, regarding an individual suspected to have been selling dagga around the area. Officers swiftly responded to a residence on Kite Street in Extension 1, where they found the wrongdoer, in possession of seventy (70) medium ziplock bags of dagga, with an estimated value of one thousand four hundred (R1400).
The suspect facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substance, was handcuffed and taken to the Rabie Ridge police station. He is expected to appear in the Midrand Magistrate’s Court soon.
