A 46-year-old man was injured after he was stabbed four (4) times during an altercation with a friend on Spring Road in Tea Estate – KZN this afternoon (Saturday).
Residents discovered the bleeding victim lying in an unpaved road and contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance at approximately 15:16. On arrival, the man informed Reaction Officers that he and a friend were returning from a tavern when they began to argue. His friend left but returned with a knife and stabbed him twice in the back and twice in his abdomen. His friend fled the scene. Details surrounding the argument were not established.
The seriously injured male was expedited to the hospital for medical attention.
