Firefighters were called to a fire at a building in the Johannesburg CBD just before 10h00 this morning. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire which was on the ground floor of a three-story hijacked building in which residents had set up shacks.
One person was treated on scene for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
