SAPS in Tshilwavhusiku investigate armed robbery

The South African Police Service in Tshilwavhusiku is investigating a case of robbery with a firearm after two women were robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash on Tuesday, 07 November 2023 at about 17:20.

According to the report, a victim was with one of her colleague working at one of the local mortuary collecting monthly cash from some of their clients when two armed men driving a white polo classic parked next to them, threatened them with firearms, robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash and cellphones, and took their car keys. The suspects fled the scene.

The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has urged the members of the public to be vigilant and not carry with them large amount of cash as this could expose them to risk.
