Police members from the Provincial Anti Economical Extortion Task Team pounced on an address in Navara Street in Belhar on Tuesday, 14 November 2023. Upon entering the premises, they found a man in possession of a consignment of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of R10 000.
They continued their search and, in the process, confiscated a 9mm Vector pistol and a consignment of ammunition.
They detained three adult males on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and dealing in drugs.
