The Police in Groblersdal through intelligence driven operation have arrested a 61-year-old male suspect in possession of suspected stolen goods on Thursday 23 November 2023.
It is reported that members of the SAPS Limpopo Provincial High Way Patrol and Crime Intelligence Unit in conjunction with a private security company, Gunmar Security Service have disrupted stolen engines which smuggled from Groblersdal en route to Mozambique.
The team followed up an intelligence and subsequently arrested a suspect for possession of three stolen board and one heavy motor vehicle engines while driving a white motor vehicle Toyota Hilux at Loskopdam along N11 road en route to Mozambique in the late hours of Thursday 23 November 2023.
The multi-disciplinary forces successfully pursued the suspect believed to be the mastermind of the burglaries around and within Groblersdal and Marblehall as well as Loskop farm areas.
The police are investigating series of burglaries and theft cases within the policing precincts of Marble Hall and
Groblersdal which are believed to have been committed by the arrested suspect in question.
